What to send for a faster estimate
Send a wide photo of the wall or ceiling, a close photo of the damage, the room location and approximate dimensions. If water caused the damage, explain whether the source has already been corrected.
When a patch becomes a larger repair
Multiple damaged areas, active moisture, loose texture, ceiling access or paint that cannot be blended cleanly can move the scope beyond a small patch. A complete estimate should account for the finish work needed to blend the repair with the surrounding room.
